Hello, I'm Katie
Lifestyle Photographer
Hi, I’m Katie, the owner and photographer behind Katie Porter Photography. My love for photography started at 13, and I followed that passion into college, where I earned my degree in Photography. In October 2023, I turned that passion into a business, dedicated to capturing beautiful, meaningful moments and helping clients preserve their most cherished memories. In December 2024, I married the love of my life, and we’re now living in Iowa. We share our home with our adorable mini Goldendoodle, who always keeps things interesting. As a proud military spouse, I understand the value of capturing moments that last a lifetime, no matter where life takes us.

Heck yes - you're ready to book! Submit an inquiry using my contact form so we can get the party started! Once I hear from you, I'll spend time thoroughly reading your inquiry and then triple checking my calendar for availability on your date. I always do my best to reply within 2 days during my office hours of M-F 9-6 CDT. I'm so freaking excited to meet you!

After I receive your date request and more information from you via my questionnaire - I provide all the details you need for your session or your big day!
STEP 03
Picture time
Your session or big day is finally here—I’m so excited to celebrate it with you! I’ll be there every step of the way, capturing the genuine moments between you and your loved ones. From the big milestones to the quiet, in-between details, every moment is thoughtfully documented so you’ll have memories to cherish forever.
STEP 04
Delivering photos
After your session, I’ll begin carefully editing all the images I captured. You can expect a few sneak peeks within 1–2 days, with your full gallery delivered to your inbox within two weeks. During busy seasons, final delivery times may vary slightly due to a higher volume of sessions.
